In observance of Women’s Month, Saint Mary’s University kicked off its celebration with “Run for the Woman” fun run, bringing together students, faculty, and staff to promote inclusivity and honor the achievements and rights of women, March 6, 2024.

Aligning with this year’s theme, “Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patunayan”the event encouraged participants to run or walk not only for themselves but for the women who have paved the way for future generations.

Associate Dean of Students Affairs and Services for women, Alona Costales emphasized the importance of celebrating the rights, strengths, resilience, and accomplishments of women worldwide.

A total of 236 individuals, including students, faculty, and staff, took part in the event.
