In celebration of the Clean, Healthy, Safe and Friendly (CHSF) Week, the School of Health and Natural Sciences (SHANS) extends ‘Jesus Mobile Clinic’, offering free medical consultations and medicines to provide health care to residents of Brgy. Gongongob, Cabuluan, Villaverde, Nueva Vizcaya on November 25, 2023.

Fifty residents, including adults and children, were the beneficiaries of the extension service carried out by volunteer doctors and faculty members from every department who shared their expertise in hopes of fostering better health outcomes through collaboration

More so, assessments were provided by faculty members from nursing departments and student nurses, which were later on submitted to volunteer physicians for recommendations regarding laboratory tests. Furthermore, the Department of Medical Laboratory Science conducted the tests as advised, and the results were then sent back to the physician for prescription. The Pharmacy 

The Department Heads of the different programs of SHANS led each area, Dr. Sherylou A. Benig (Nursing), Melchora M. Bautista (Pharmacy) and Maria Shiela M. Ramos (Medtech) as each department’s faculty members and students worked in collaboration in bringing health to the community.
